One of our local Mortgage Brokers is offering the the Fannie Mae Home Path Program.

This program was created to offer financing for Fannie Mae owned properties that are a result of a prior foreclosure.
To be eligible for the program, the property must be listed as HomePath eligible and the purchase contract must indicate that the borrower is using Fannie Mae HomePath financing. NOTE: For now, we will not yet be offering the Renovations program.
Program Features:
- A purchase program – eligible for 1 unit SFRs and PUDs.
- Low down payment possible: buyer MAY be eligible for up to 97% financing with minimum credit score of 660 or higher.
- Up to 6% seller contributions allowed for LTVs up to 97%. Additional temporary incentive for new appliances may be available.
- Available for owner occupied, second home and investment properties – ask for details for various LTV options.
- No mortgage insurance required.
- No appraisal required – lender does require an AVM
